In an effort to make SGS more accessible to the investing public and broaden the SGS investor base, the minimum denomination for SGS T-bills in both primary auctions and secondary market trading was lowered from S$10,000 to S$1000 with effect from 26 Jan 2002. This move also standardized the minimum denomination for both SGS T-bills and bonds.
